Good Morning,

I have uploaded a Nearpod activity to cover today's lesson/practice on google classroom and the Fred Lynn page.  A new assignment will be uploaded for tomorrow's practice later today.  You can also visit my page for any emails that I might have sent out in the past.

Also, please continue to follow the PWCS Twitter page and website for any new information about COVID-19.  This is also a reminder that the school year is still going, just virtually.  There is NO NEW LEARNING, everything is review from previous years or from this school year.  There is also NO NEW GRADES.  The only type of grading that will take place, is to help students bring their current grade up.  If you have any questions, please feel free to email me.  I have office hours today and tomorrow.  I will attempt to hold a zoom meeting (just for fun) on Friday.

Please see this link for virtual learning information:

I hope that everyone is happy, safe, and well.  I miss you guys so much! <3

Love,
Mrs. Stritt

Good Afternoon,

I hope everyone is healthy and doing well.

The language and literature team has met.  From now on, assignments will be uploaded to our shared Fred Lynn Middle School page.  There will be a weekly agenda of 5 (total) of content for the students to complete.   Folders will be labeled where assignments will be located.  I can continue to upload to google classroom if it is easier for you to submit and complete.  Again, if you need your username/password, just let me know.  We will be getting more information this week about how school/classwork is supposed to be put out from Mr. Steve Walts.  Please make sure you are following all forms of communication that PWCS is putting out.

The school year is not over, we are just digital.  :)  If you would like to bring your current grade up, please contact me.  I have only heard from about 12 students/parents out of my 103 students.  Stay safe and well.

Love,
Mrs. Stritt

Happy Friday!

I hope everyone is safe and well.  I am going to upload some virtual field trips, part 4 of the story that I have been posting, and maybe one other activity.  Shoot me an email when you have completed an assignment.  If you would like to have your grade adjusted or improved, I will gladly help you with that. :) I miss you guys.  I am really heartbroken that I won't see you again this year.  Please make sure you are checking my website daily and logging into google classroom.  I have your info if you need anything reset.  I love you.

Good Morning,

I will be uploading a new short story today and a few other activities to google classroom.  My team (language arts) will be starting to create things together and upload them to our shared website on the Fred Lynn Class Pages.

My class page is also accessible through this website.  Please check it daily or every other day for updates.  We are trying to create 5 hours of language and literature material for each week.  That is the amount of time that they would normally get in the classroom, which is why we wanted to make that amount of material accessible each week.  Everything that we are doing is for enrichment purposes only.

If you are worried about your current grade in my class, or would like the chance to redo an assignment, please let me know.  I would be happy to help you bring your grade up.

I look forward to hearing from some of you soon.  I have only heard from a couple.  I hope that everyone is safe and well.

All of my love,

Mrs. Stritt

Good Morning,

The language arts team has been talking and we are trying to come up with a consistent approach for distance learning.  I know for some of you this might be difficult, which is why we are trying to make things as easily accessible through cell phone.  I am going to include the link for the main Fred Lynn Middle School web-page, which is where we will be posting lots of content.  I truly hope that you continue to pursue your education, even though we aren't actually in the classroom.

The content that we will be covering is stuff that you will need in your high school career.  To be clear, the school year is not over.  It has just been moved to distance learning.  Everything we post will be enrichment and beneficial to you.  I am always here to answer questions or explain things in more detail.

I love you.

Mrs. Stritt

PS!

This Friday, I will be hosting a ZOOM meeting.  It will allow us to see each other and talk!  It will be at 7:00 pm!

Good Evening,

It saddens me to know that I won't probably see any of you for a long time.  As advised by the superintendent and our principal, I will continue to post work on google classroom.  Every activity is for enrichment and enrichment only.  I will post stuff that will help you prepare for your next school year (high school). If you have a concern about your current grade, I will be happy to work with you to bring it up.  The language arts team (5 teachers) is working together to make sure that all of us our aligned in what we are putting up.

I am going to miss each and every one of you so very much.  This was the worst news that I could have heard.  I hope that next year, many of you will come back to visit, and I will do my best to come visit you.  I love you so much.  You will ALWAYS be my kids.  I will always be here for you.  Feel free to email me, text me, or call me.

Love always,

Mrs. Stritt

Hello Everyone,

I am uploading assignments to google classroom.  If you have forgotten your google classroom log-in and password.  Email me or text me.  I have created a safe google number for you to message/text/call me on.  This will help keep communication open between all of us.  Students and parents can reach me at the phone number.

This week NOTHING is required or mandatory, per Steve Walts.

I am posting stuff that is all optional.  Next week, there will be assignments to complete at each person's own ability.  I know that it will be difficult for some of you to have internet access/printing abilities, etc.  I will do my best to help you in any way that I can.  If you end up doing an assignment paper/pencil, feel free to take a picture of it and send it to me via email or text!

I know that this is a scary time for all of us and I know that everyone's situation is different.  If completing any work will be struggle over the next four weeks, then I encourage you to be reading independently at home.

Thank you everyone.

I love and miss all of you! Stay safe.

Hello Everyone!

I know that this is a scary time and many of you are confused and uncertain, as am I.  I just wanted to let you know that Steve Walts has said that no work should be pushed out to students this week.  I will be putting up optional assignments, review games, and stories for you to do this week, IF YOU WANT TO DO THEM.  They are not required, but could give you something to do.

I encourage you all to read, read, read!

You can reach me through email,
